Irish Multimarathon Day
– Trumpets......!!
Dublin, July 4th is when the kids will walk or run on the same course as the older athletes in anticipation of achieving their respective Goals. The kids are aiming to complete the last 2.195km’s. Please note that one adult is to accompany each of the kids throughout the course*.
Parents, kids and athletes can enjoy the atmosphere together in the spirit of improving their cardiovascular health.
The ‘to do list’ before the race is as follows:
- Make sure you have the athletic gear for the kids (runners, socks, shorts, a top)
- Please bring the Kilometre Countdown chart(s). In order to get the Kids Mobile Marathon Certificate we will need to see this.
- Check your journey time. There is no parking at the Event. Please use public transport.
- 1 adult must accompany the younger kids on the course. Bring your own necessary gear.
- Lastly remember it’s not a race. There are no prizes for finishing first – it’s all about achieving the Goal together.
Registration will be at the Start/finish line at the junction of Alfie Byrne Road and Clontarf Road. Click here for map.
